Just in from TV Guide’s Ausiello Report, it seems that CRIMINAL MINDS has found its replacement and it might be…….. Geena Davis (Commander in Chief).
Apparently, Shemar Moore (who plays Derek Morgan) confirmed to Michael Ausiello that Geena Davis is the front-runner to replace Mandy Patinkin (Jason Gideon).

As far as Geena Davis, I really like her and I think she would be a great addition, but I don’t know if it’ll be enough to fill the void left by Mandy Patinkin. Jason Gideon was a brilliant character portrayed by a brilliant actor. That is some big shoes to fill. I’m sure we’ll hear more about it tomorrow. So stay tuned…
