TV Guide’s Ausiello Report announced that VERONICA MARS is officially over.
The CW has officially pulled the plug on Veronica Mars. Series creator Rob Thomas confirmed the news for me via e-mail just moments ago.
Wait… wasn’t it over already? I’m confused. I guess there was still hope for the June 15th deadline that the CW would bring Veronica Mars back, but since I had already given up hope, this news doesn’t come as such a shock to me.
Also it seems that the last efforts of fans to send Mars bars (or really Snickers bars) to the CW has failed before it even began. Not to be surprised, they kind of waited a little too long to even start the campaign.
Like I said before, I will miss Veronica Mars dearly, as it was one of my all time favorites, but all hope is not lost for a feature film, so cross your fingers!
